How We Write, Verify, and Correct

Every informational guide is built from three kinds of material: firsthand formulation records from our own distillation work, published safety standards (primarily the International Fragrance Association dermal limits), and independently tested supplier data such as gas chromatography reports. Where a claim rests on a single source or on our own observation rather than published research, we say so explicitly instead of presenting it as settled fact.

Articles are written by the house perfumer and reviewed before publication. Factual claims about safety, purity, shelf life, or suitability for candles, soap, or skin are checked against the source material listed above. Each guide carries a review date; when a source standard changes or our own formulation practices change, the page is updated and the review date is reset.

Content is written for this site. We do not republish competitor articles, and where a topic is genuinely shared across the industry — how to layer fragrances, what DPG does, how attar differs from parfum — we add our own measured data and first-hand answers rather than paraphrase.
